We plan to do that very thing once again on Monday, September 8, 2008, at the farm in Newberry with the Bush River & Treasure Chest Combination IX Sale.
Last year, the popular sale was held on September 10, 2007. We again joined forces with Kevin and Shelley Lutz, Treasure Chest Jerseys, and those who purchased from previous sales to offer Jersey breeders a tremendous 116 lots that sold for an average $2,768.10. The high seller was DeMents Centurion Nora, purchased for $7,000 by Kyle Burk, Marionville, MO. She was consigned by John McReynolds III, Starkville, MS. Clifford and Ashley Stiles, Newberry, SC, took home the second high-seller, BRJ Legion Furor Laci K-3, for $6,550. Two choices out of Franken Renaissance Angela rounded out the top four high sellers. Louie Cozzitorto, Turlock, CA, selected a first choice female sired by Griffens Governor-ET for $5,400.
